
It's funny to know that the word "Terrorist in the modern sense dates to 1947, especially in reference to Jewish tactics against the British in Palestine." It's also interesting to know that "the bombing of British headquarters at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem--a "terrorist" bombing, of course, [...] was carried out by a man who was later to become Prime Minister of Israel, Menachem Begin" who writes in his memoirs, "three telephone calls were made to warn of the bombs, but the hotel was not evacuated."
It was an attack orgnozed by the so-called Zionist rebel group Irgun Tsvai-Leumi (Military-National Organization) that existed in the early 20th century.
