New works
Here is the result of the work I've been doing with Jens Burau yesterday. These are two of the sketches of the poster Jens is making for the collective open house of the art schools in Copenhagen. The photo is mine and Jens made the layout and I had some comments on the layout over the phone and Internet because I couldn't go to Copenhagen. I wonder how long this work would take if we didn't have mobile and e-mail and instant message. Thanks God Almighty for creating technology! It is very cool working with Jens; we have made lots of kick-ass stuff together in the last five years, although we have such different and clashing taste and are busy arguing and quarreling all the time. Sometime other people can't stand Jens and I working.
All this reminded me of a conversation I had sometime ago. I was talking to a friend of mine, Kristine who is the artistic director of Tamasha Theater in London and she said "oh, you must be a very hot and famous photographer then." I said, "No! Why do you think so?" She said, "You take photos for all these big clients like Royal Theater, Red Cross, and National Theater School etc." I just smiled. I could really explain that it doesn't work like that in Denmark. Although I have all these things and many more, I am still Mr. Next-to-no-one. I imagine that people either think I lie or I am out of my mind.
